I was so excited to read this book, especially after the fiasco that happened between Rhys and Helen in the first book of the series, Cold-Hearted Rake. This book is labeled as a Historical Romance, but I think that it's fair to warn you that it is also one of the best erotic romances I have read this year, maybe ever.  Elizabeth Hoyt made the words "May I" sound like the sexiest thing you can ever hear from a man. Now this was at a disadvantage to me, since I did not read the first two books in the series, thank goodness it can read as a stand alone. I was so excited to receive this book.  I read the first two books in the series, and I loved them and this book was no different. This book was a big let down for me.  The title was promising, so was the cover.  Even the description of the book got to me and then when it got down to actually reading the book, I got a headache.  Here's why. This book title is such a mouthful to say, but oh what fun it is as well.  I was intrigued just by the title of the story and the story itself had me hooked. Imagine living the first 30 years of your life thinking that your father is dead only to have him show up and put your mother in the most awkward of places. It seems that is what happens to Jackson Quincy Graham Channing, Vice President of a prestigious banking facility in New York, and his father.  His mother thought that it was not fit to tell him about his father but she also failed to inform his father that he also has a son, dun, dun ,dun. I got this book at a book swap and I reluctantly picked it up to read it, thinking that I would not enjoy the book.  Boy was I wrong, I have to stop passing judgement on books before I read them, otherwise I would miss out on a lot of good books. At first I was upset because I thought the ending of the book came first but then I realized that it was brilliant. Miss Jackson skipped the falling in love story and went straight into the grovelling and apologizing stage to get the girl back. Lance Montgomery was a huge arse and Dr. Asia Fowler blinded herself with her past pain but as nice as their love story was I loved Lance's sister, Carrie, love story much better and I thought that her story overshadowed her brothers. I more wanted to know what was going to happen next with Carrie and Conner (don't they sound cute!). Miss Brenda made me feel the pain and the joy of her characters and I cannot wait to find another of her books in the library to read.

I read this book in a few hours, the drama kept coming and coming.  First came lies, then came affairs, then came baby in a carriage. Curtis Black, big name pastor, sinning and making a mockery of his wedding vows, again.  His wife is furious with him, even though she herself did the same thing, twice, but Reverend Black has turned his life around. He has changed for the better and is honoring his vows but his ex-mistress won't let him forget about his daughter and began the shout that started the avalanche of events that occurred. This seem to happen a lot in the church theme books I borrow, blackmail, deceit, betrayal, and many arguing, baby mama drama and baby daddy drama. I heard about this author in a young adult book I was reading and I instantly went out to the library to see if I found any of his books.  This is the only one they have by E . Lynn Harris. Aldridge "AJ" Jones is a kept man. He has access to the best of everything and does not even have to work a regular job. I LOVED this book, I just did not want to put it down, and I was sad when it finished.  Everyone in this book had the most twisted way of thinking.
