ANYTHING FOR YOU by Kristan Higgins

This book had me thinking a lot.  Jess's live was not an easy one.  She made some bad choices in her life, but she did them with the best intentions.  I wonder if I would have done, half of the things she did if I was in her position? Connor O'Rourke proposed to the girl of his dreams, Jessica Dunn, and was refused! They have known each other throughout their entire lives and their relationship might not have the best history but their feelings are real. They have always had an on again off again kind of relationship and Connor just wanted to make Jessica his wife.  But when she refused him, he told her that they were officially done and never getting back together.  Jessica just walked away. Jessica Dunn has done things that no girl should have to do in order to protect her brother.  Growing up with two acholic parents, Jessica had to take care of both herself and her special brother for all of her life. She has spent so much of her time thinking about surviving a

THE BAD BOY CEO by Sugar Jamison

I love Sugar Jamison books. It broke my heart when I found out that this book did not star a plus-size woman, but the hot and sexy Colt King was enough to ease my pain. Colt King never wanted to go back to his small town home.  But that's exactly where he and his brothers ended up.  Their aunt who raised them after their father left, is hospitalized and the King brothers rush over to see her.  What they saw was not what they were expecting. They found their aunt fit as a fiddle in her hospital room and Colt had the fortune of finding a half naked woman in their old home.   Yes, the half-naked woman was sassy and held a shotgun towards him, but that did not stop Cole from noticing all she had on display.    Zanna Jacobs is trying to avoid danger, but it seems as if danger came and found her.  Unfortunately, she was not properly dressed for the occasion.  This book was tons of fun to read.  I found that it ended a little too easily and abrupt, but the ride to the e

ENRAPTURED by Candace Camp

I enjoy reading Candace Camp books and this book was not, in my opinion, one of her best work but it was still fascinating to read. Violet Thornhill is fed up with being a woman in a man's world and she does everything in her power to gain even ground with any man she comes across.  This is a hard thing to accomplish seeing as how she is on the short side, but this does not stop Violet from trying. Her newest quest in gaining even footing is by arriving ahead of the rush to examine newly discovered ruins at an estate in Duncally.  On her way there, her carriage was attacked by highwaymen. Violet was so angry she attacked her attackers with an umbrella.  But her umbrella was not enough and Violet finds herself saved, by a man. Her rescuer's form of payment was too high in the form of a kiss, and Violet slammed the carriage door in his face and continued on her way.  When she arrived at the Estate, she met with none other than her so called "savior".

I love the cover of this and it's the cover that compelled me to pick up the book.  When I saw  +Lisa Kleypas 's name on the front cover, I was immediately sold and  I did not even read the description on the back of the book when I hurried over to the cash register. This was a wonderful book about the strength, love

BROKEN RESOLUTIONS by Olivia Dade

When reading this book, I was having a blast.  Naughty things were happening in one of my most favorite places in the world.   Then all of a sudden, the book makes a complete 180 on me and the amazing book turned to a confusion of emotions. Penny Callahan has made a New Year's resolution of staying away from men.  Her love life is a book filled with heartache and deception and Penny is fed up with it. She hopes her time of staying away from men will make her understand herself better and why she keeps making such bad choices in men. Hosting a single's night at the Library she works at was not Penny's idea on how to avoid men, but it was a way to help a friend.  Penny was determined to stick to her plan, but her plan was shaken when she saw a sexy stranger at the party. Jack Williamson is a reclusive author and wants it to stay that way.  But his mother puts his secret identity in trouble by signing him up to take part in single's night in the one place w

ALL I WANT by Jill Shalvis

I really liked this book.  The chemistry between the two were instant and the kiss at first sight just made everything much more interesting. Zoe Stone is a pilot for hire who practically raised her brother and sister by herself while their parents traveled all over the world. Being both parents to her siblings has put a big dent in her dating life.  Putting herself out there, Zoe took some advice from her sister to mix things up and kiss her blind date as soon as she opens the door. Unfortunately, Zoe ended up kissing the wrong man. Instead, of her blind date ( who stood her up ) she kissed her bother's friend Parker.  The same friend Zoe promised to let stay at the house for a week. Mortified by her behavior, Zoe tried to stay out of his way, but with Parker's magnetic personality and his ability to get under her skin, Zoe finds herself wanting to jump him instead. The spark between the two intensifies when Parker hires her to fly him around the area for re
