Swans Book Review

It was so good to go back to The Little beach Street Bakery and meet the gang once again.  Even with the bad times that overcame them, it was still fun to go back. Polly Waterford could not be happier. She lives in the small town of Mount Polbearne that she loves.  She runs a bakery where she is practically in charge of everything. And best of all, she lives with her boyfriend Huckle, who she is absolutely and totally in love with.  Live could not be better. I was reading this book the same time I was reading the Girls of Mischief Bay by  +Susan Mallery  and I wondered why I chose two boring books back to back.  I was so wrong on both of these books. Polly Waterford's life is falling apart.  The business she and her partner had, has gone bankrupt.  They must now give everything to the bank in order to satisfy their loans. Left with barely anything to live on, the only place that she found that she can afford to rent is someplace far away in the sleepy seaside resort of Polbearne. The place is barely livable but something about the place draws her.  Maybe it has something to do with the kitchen she found that called to her inner baker. Bread is her specialty, and when Polly kneads dough for the first time in her new place, it felt as if she was kneading all her troubles away. Twitter has gotten to be really well known and they even had it as a basis for this book.  This book was major fun; where else would you find an over six feet amazon who rocks high heels. Cassidy Shea, widely known as @TwitterGirl, has unfortunately lost her job due to poor words placement.  In the face of losing her job and the whole world hating on her, to further put a slap to her face, her boyfriend also took a hike. In the face of total ruin, a knight in shining armor comes to save the day by offering her a job for just being her Twitter Girl self.  Working close to the most eligible bachelor, Will Becker, is a huge bonus, seeing as he is running to be President of the United States of America and looking for a first lady.  Twitter Girl catches Will's eye, but so does her best friend.  Now he is dating them both and it's not clear who he likes more. Feeling down about the confusion that is her love life, Cassidy is thankful for her job....
