Swans Book Review

Okay, this was a first to me.  I recently began reading Elizabeth Hoyt books and I am starting to really like her.  Now this book was a shock to my system, I knew her as a historical romance author, not this type.  Intrigued I requested the book and was pleasantly surprised. Sam West is a small town cop who always has the inkling to pull over speeders in town.  This particular speeder however is the elusive Maisa Bradley,also known as May, the woman who he had an amazing one night with. Sam had every intention of making it more, but she sneaked away in the middle of the night, and showed having no interest in doing it again.  Sam has done his best to get time to talk to her, but she just blows him off. Not one to give up, Sam persist until the holy grail of  a misunderstanding ended up at his doorstep. Maisa could not believe her bad luck.  First she is pulled over, again, by the sexy cop that makes her feel things she shouldn't.  Then...

This book got me so angry.  This girl was not serious.  She did not deserve him and I wished he realized that he was better off without her and move on. My library is back baby, YEAH.  It opened it's brand new door with their brand new look but the best part is, they kept their old staff.  When I entered again for the first time after all this time, I was so happy and borrowed two books to read, (even though I have so much e-books at home to read).  This is a story with a twist and I liked it, but was not satisfied by. Tia Edwards wants to make it in her chosen career whilst also maintaining a healthy relationship with her boyfriend, when it all goes downhill (Okay, it went downhill with the boyfriend, not her job), can anyone help her mend her broken heart? AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I went into the Library, looking for some Nora Roberts books, and I turned around and what did I see, Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas. I rushed to the counter, borrowed my book and was happy for two days which was how long it took me to finish the book (sad face). Lucy Marinn, a glass maker with a secret wonderful power, got her heart broken by her boyfriend when he left her for someone else.   Her broken heart was then shattered into a million pieces when he told her he was leaving her for her younger sister, and that they are engaged, which he was not able to do with her. Her heart was then put in a safe and locked away, never to be abused again, but also not able to love.  Lucy's parents was outraged by what her sister has done and refused to fund their marriage until they made things right with Lucy. I love flowers but not as much as Miss Emmaline Grant, she lives for them.  Emma is part owner of Vows, which is in the wedding business and Emma's part is with the flowers.  The bouquet, the table center piece, once it involves flowers, Emma does it and does it with a fairy tale quality. Growing up with a love story like her parents, Emma's head constantly romanticizes everything.  She keep looking for Mr Right and she found him in Jack. Jack Cooke is a enjoy them now and leave them before they get to close kind of guy.  His mindset encourages him into not wanting or needing a relationship knowing that they never last and people get hurt. With Emma, there was no holding back and he was constantly hesitating when she says or does something that he thinks violates his space.
