Okay, this was a first to me.  I recently began reading Elizabeth Hoyt books and I am starting to really like her.  Now this book was a shock to my system, I knew her as a historical romance author, not this type.  Intrigued I requested the book and was pleasantly surprised. Well this book was new.  Usually I dislike know-it-all people but I made an exception for Abigail Lowery who had to bury Elizabeth Fitch in order to survive. Who trumps whom, F.B.I or I.R.S?  If I have to go up against either of these two, I'd choose the F.B.I all the time.  Sweet talk was a fun, action packed book for the whole family, (18+ of course.) Olivia Mackenzie did not expect that when she went for an interview, that her dress would be torn by her potential new boss, that his meat head of a body guard would pull a gun on her and that she got into the middle of an F.B.I investigation.  I bet she wished she never left home. Lucky me, I always seem to pick up books that follow a pattern, and my current pattern are women you get what they need handed to them only to throw it in the garbage for what they think they need, and this woman was one of the worst offenders of doing just that. Okay guys, if you read my last post it was also about Julie Garwood and I am sad to say that I was left wanting, and not in a good way.  This book was better, much better and I advice all of you to read it, buy read it and add it to your library; you will not regret it. A dozen robberies have been made over a two year period and not a clue as to who did them or how.  They were dubbed the name "The Backwater Gang" due to the name of the first town they hit, but things took a turn for the worse when they got a taste for killing. This i s another re-read for me, my copy is a little water damaged but still legible. This is a story about two souls that were connected by fire, one in the path of destruction and the other in the path of righteousness. Reena Hale was only eleven years old when the restaurant that her mother and father owned was caught on fire.  Being the one to see the fire she was also able to save three lives in the process.  Reena's family bonded even more that night when another family was torn apart. When I saw this in the library I was so excited I let out a little squeal but everyone still turned round and looked at me funny so apparently it was not little, but I was so excited. I read the first two books in the series and it was awesome and I want to read them all. In this book John Powell, the man they say that when who have him, no other man will do, you will imagine that every woman would be after him, and they would but he only chooses the most wounded. Eve Dallas is the main character in J.D Robb's in death series and I totally love her kick ass attitude as well as her love for her job and her extremely sexy husband Roake. I love the in death series ( as I like to call it) , even though I haven't read the first book in the series (I access book mostly from the Library) I am hooked. Newly promoted Captain and his wife return a day early to find their daughter murdered in her own bed.  Cause of death was being smoldered after being repeatedly raped and strangled for hours. The killer, being the sick son of a gun he is, courted her for months before brutally killing her in that specific way.   He had months of opportunities and easier ways to kill her, but why in this way? Alex Cross, one of my favorite hero series that I know, I will always enjoy to read. In this book, the president, of the United States of America, children have been kidnapped, which is suppose to be impossible, but someone manage to beat the odds and they did it awesomely and right under the secret services's noses. An act of rebellion has led the children right into the arms of danger and torture and it is now up to Detective Cross to help find these poor children before it's to late. Already with too much on his plate, the water supply has been tampered with.  It seems like it was an act of terrorism but is it related to the kidnapping?  You have to read to find out! Even though the book is called "Kill Alex Cross", there seem to be a lack of attempts to actually do so hmmm!
