Keeping in the theme of the season, here's a lovely Christmas story for you.  This is a re-issue of a book that Susan Mallery published in 1998 and it was named Wedding Ring Promise back then.  Now it has a new title as well as a  new cover, enjoy! Molly Anderson is having a bad life.  Not only does her mother seem to hate her, her father is indifferent to her and her sister can't stand her.  The love of her life, bad-boy Dylan Black, is moving away from town. I was not expecting all this angst in this book, but, it oddly intrigued me.  This book is for all the women who ever felt like that it is too late to  achieve your dreams. Well guess what, it's not and  +Susan Mallery  tells us a story about why that is! Nina Wentworth is a small town nurse who also has a life time job of being the responsible one.  Having to be a mom to her mother and to her sister, Nina was not able to be child, she always had to be the grown up around the house. I love +Jill Shalvis, she writes such interesting and exciting stories that has me enthralled from the first page.  I have to say I was a bit bummed (like totally pissed) when I no longer received invites to review her Lucky Harbor series, but no worries (yes worries) I'm okay with that.  "Then came you" is part of the Animal Magnetism Series, and it's the fifth book in the series. I found the perfect man, by my standards anyway, in this book and I wanted to hit Emily when she didn't understand that. Emily Stevens is a woman with a plan, which includes doing her internship at the Los Angeles clinic liked she planned, and not at a small animal clinic in Sunshine, Idaho.  Saying to herself that this is a side road from her plan, she sets into her calendar the amount of days she has until she has obligated her vet school scholarship and get back to her "real life". On her first day, she realized that it was not going to be as easy as she thought.  ...

My brother's Keeper is not an appropriate tittle for this book, seeing as it was both her brother and her sister, plus she wasn't able to help her brother get the help he so desperately needed before he destroyed himself. The James siblings had have a very rough upbringing, including witnessing their parents deaths, both dying in different ways. Aja, being the oldest took it upon herself to always be there for her siblings, neglecting herself in the process until the to good to be true Charles Clayton comes into her life and changes everything. Even though Aja did something stupid that becomes a secret, which she should have told Charles about.  She had the perfect opportunity at the funeral, but NOOOOOOOO, her friend told her not to tell, which was STUPID advice seeing as this WILL be brought up in the future and WILL most definitely ruin things seeing as she was in the wrong all by herself.    You can purchase this book in the link below.
