This story was a miracle in the making.  I have no idea how Julia London made two of the most opposite people ever, come together so smoothly and perfectly. I prefer His Work of Art to this book, the previous book in the series, to this one.  I still had a good time reading the book, it's just that I did not like the ending of the book that much. Sydney Peters is the cymbal player of her school's marching band, but she hates it.  Her passion is really to play the drums, but since she's so good at playing the cymbals, they keep her at it.  At least, that's the excuse they gave her. I honestly thought this was the last book in the series.  I have no idea why, but I did.  Not sure if I'm up to reading the rest of the series since it seems to all blend together and sound the same. This is a book about escaping and finding your own voice. I liked this book, which is no surprise since I love all  +Jill Shalvis 's books. Becca Thrope has always wanted to live by the beach. I enjoyed this book very much.  There was a secret and I seriously had no clue as to what it was until it was actually revealed.  I felt such pain to be decieved, even though I'm not the one that was wronged.
