I'LL BE THERE by Samantha Chase

Wow.  This book had me guessing over and over, what would make Zach and Gabriella break up.  I quite liked how  +Samantha Chase  had me on my toes with this book. Zach Montgomery puts Oscar the Grouch and The Grinch out of business with his rotten temperament. His attitude is understandable, he did fall off a mountain and broke almost every bone in his body and lived to tell the tale. For Zach, this is the worst thing that could ever happen to him.  He thrives on adventures and being active.  So being confirmed to crutches to move around on is humiliating. Hense his rotten attitude. Things come naturally to Zach.  He never had to try hard at studying or sports, but in order for him to get back full mobility of his legs, Zach has to put in the work.  Work he seems to run away from.   His family and friends all want to help him, but he does not want their pitying stares and chases them all way.  His family, desperate for Zach to commit to his recovery, pull out the bi

HIS WORK OF ART by Shannyn Schroeder

I requested this book because it was about nerds in love and comic books, which are two things that I enjoy.  I loved that it contained comic books as well as a woman with a sassy mouth. Reese Carter is not your average joe. She is a girl with a plan.  A plan to write her own comic.  She has the writing down, but she cannot draw to save her life.  Therein lies the problem. Reese is reluctant to share her baby with someone else, especially after what happened the last time. But Reese needs someone to draw her illustrations. Otherwise, it would only be a book and not a comic and that's how Adam is desperately needed. Adam Hayes is both thrilled and terrified to draw the art for Reese's Comic Book.  He has never met someone like Reese, who is smart, sassy and can keep her own when talking about comics.  Even with her preferring DC over Marvel. Adam has only ever drawn for himself and is unsure on how to go about drawing what Reese wants. They get along great as fr

PICNICS IN HYDE PARK by Nikki Moore

Picnics in Hyde park was different.  I'm still undecided if it was a good different or a bad different. Zoe Harper returns to the UK after five longs years when she found her fiance in bed with another woman.  Outraged, Zoe packs all her stuff and was on the next flight home only to find out that her sister, was thrown out of her job and her boyfriend is not returning any of her calls. Mad as hell from her deception, Zoe's anger takes an all time high making her take action as soon as her plane landed. Instead of going home and consoling her sister, she marched straight over to her sister's former employer to give him a piece of her mind. Instead, what she finds is an over-stressed father, Matt Reilly, in need of a new nanny for his children. Jet lag and anger do not mix and Zoe finds herself being interviewed for a job as the new nanny instead. Matt Reilly has a lot going on.  He's a famous music producer who lets his children be raised by the nanny wi

SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL by Sarah Morgan

OMG, I LOVED the hero in this book. He's so dreamy and full of heart and I'm glad he got a happy ending. The woman, however, my feelings for her was like a yo-yo.  First it was down, then it came up and then it went right down again in the ending. Brittany Forrest got away from her island home of Puffin Island to get away from the sympathetic stares and comments from the kind hearted islanders when her marriage ended after only ten days. It stung that much more when she married him after everyone warned her against marrying the island bad boy Zachary Flynn. Determined to escape the sympathy and her thoughts of Zach, she flees the island and has not seen nor heard from Zach in the next ten years. Zachary Flynn has seen and experienced things no child should ever have to go through. Being subjected to an abusive parent, Zach learnt from a young age that the only one who can look after him is himself. When he came to Puffin Island he was given a chance at a new li

WIN ME OVER by Nicole Michaels

This is my first book by  +Nicole Michaels  and the book was entertaining, but to me, it was not all that great. Some of the problems in the book were not believable to me, but weirdly, I still had fun reading. Callie Daniels is a triple threat. She owns and operates her own Bakery, contributes to a popular lifestyle blog and she is the new dance coach at the local high school. She believes that you have to work hard in order to get what you want, and has thrown herself head first into her work, leaving no time for dating. Bennett Clark is the football coach of the town's football team and believes in playing by the rules. When he got his first glimpse of the dance instructor, it blew his mind.  But Bennett learned his lesson about love the hard way and wants nothing to do with the sexy teacher. That is, until some sneaky manipulation on the principal part has them as partners in a charity dance competition.  And that's all she wrote. I was confused by the ch

BLOG TOUR OF Unleashed Vol. 1

Unleashed, Vol. 1: Hot Alpha Romance (Beg For It series) Declan Hunt I never thought I’d see her again. The one I couldn’t have, the one I’d never forget. When I met her I had nothing, a lowly ranch hand working on her daddy’s land. She was the golden girl up on the hill, sexy as hell but beyond my reach. Now, like all my fantasies realized, she’s come to me for help. I’m a bastard, ruthless in pursuit of my goals. My cold, hard drive has made me what I am today, amassing wealth and power. A good guy would help her, then send her on her way with a handshake and a smile. I’m not a good guy. I’m going to make a bargain and hold her to it. One week. I’ll bail her out, pay off all her debts, but only after she gives herself to me completely. Seven days and seven nights of no-holds-barred submission to my dominance. I’m a demanding man with dark, relentless appetites. She’s unleashed the beast in me and I won’t stop until I possess all of her. Kara Six years ago

A WHISPER OF DESIRE by Bronwen Evans

I love, love, LOVE Bronwen Evans.  I chose one of her books on a whim on +NetGalley , not thinking that I will enjoy her books much, boy was I wrong.  I love all the books I've read of her's so far, and I kind of stalk  +Goodreads  for her upcoming releases all the time. Waking up naked nest to your brother's best friend is not the vision Lady Marisa Hawkstone intended her marriage to start. Maitland Spencer, the Duke of Lyttleton, wanted Marisa as a wife, but he did not anticipate having to marry her out of obligation.  The mysterious enemy strikes again, doing something that no ones understand her reasoning for. What purpose can making Maitland and Marisa marry in the most scandalous of ways help their enemy destroy them?  My guess, I think she was trying to mess up the friendship between Maitland and Marisa's brother, Sebastian. But that's just my guess. Maitland and Marisa's marriage started off with a rocky start, as most rushed marriages ar
