If you are like me, you would pick up a book based on the cover. I know the old saying "Don;t judge a book by its cover" but I can't help it. I'm a graphic designer ( well I'm training to be one ) and designs always catches my eyes. Since I love books so much, I always pick up a book that is pleasing to my eyes and then read the description on the back and when that fails, pick up a random book and do the same. One of my favorite authors is +Julie Garwood and from my mom's old collection of books I've seen some beautiful book covers from her even though I lost one of them ( I will find whoever lost it and they will pay ). Now, I only choose Julie Garwood's books based on the author alone. Seriously, I would not have looked twice at the reprinted version of her books if she was not already established in my mind.
