IT STARTED WITH A KISS by Marina Adair

Well well well! What do we have here with this story? Is it a love story, is it a trade or is it MURDER! I'm kidding, I'm kidding, there's no murder here. Avery Adams wants adventure. She wants to push herself outside the norm and experience life instead of just existing. This came about when she survived a kidney transplant that saved her life, but it's also a ticking time bomb that can explode at any time. With her resolve to experience life, Avery did the most logical thing and got a job as a guide in the local adventure lodge in her rustic Sierra Nevada Town. She was excited for her new job until reality slapped her in the face.  Instead of getting the training she needed in order to become a guide, she's stuck in the office, managing the business as best she can. What makes this situation worse is that the business is failing and the owner is so set in his ways that he refuses to change anything to fix it.  Frustrated with the way things were, hel...

CRASH AND BURN by Rachel Lacey

This book was not the usual Rachel Lacey book and I should know, I've actually read all of them.  This is a story I've not read before and it puts to light what your brain thinks about when you think that you're about to die. Isa Delgado is terrified of flying and now she has to step foot into her first ever plane ride to help a rescue dog that only responds to her. The rescue is a husky dog named Maya who likes to run away when things get rough.  This does not help Isa with her fear of flying but the hunk who was her pilot might help matters a bit. Take off was not so bad and it relaxed Isa to see Maya calm during the flight.  Just when she thought that flying might not be so bad, everything goes horribly wrong. Nate lives to fly.  He's been flying for as long as he can remember. That's why he did not foresee any problems in flying a lady and her dog to their destination. Things don't go as planned when in the middle of their flight, shit hit t...

A MILLION LITTLE THING by Susan Mallery

I love going to Mischief Bay and meeting all the girls again and meeting new ones along the way. Plus we get to see a new side of Pam that gives me second thoughts about her. This book focuses on Zoe, Jen and Pam. Zoe works from home and incident that had her trapped in her attic with her hungry cat made her come to the realization that she is completely alone. Jen is the daughter of Pam and recently turned a mother herself.  Jen finds herself constantly obsessing over her son and the things that can harm him. We all know Pam (if you've read the series from the beginning ). We've been with her when she wanted to get her groove back and through the loss of her husband.  Nguy. Watch as these ladies discover a new side of themselves that they never knew existed in their fun new adventures in Mischief Bay. This book was an eye opener to a side of Pam I never knew existed. But before I get into Pam's story let's talk about the first woman we were introduced to ...

VIRTUAL TOUR REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY for Crazy for You

It's always fun when friends turn into lovers, but what happens when honorary family members fall in love?  This is the year for Emma Rush.  She's tired of being safe and wants to shake up her routine by trying new and daring things.  She started her experience off by taking part an obstacle course and even though she did not win, she still had a blast doing it. Now Emma wants something more, something that she has been reading about for years in books. Emma wants to have a fiery passion love affair with a guy.  And not just any guys, she wants a bad boy, she wants Ryan Blake. Ryan Blake understands lost.  He lost his mother, brother and best friend in only a couple of years and losing Emma would be too much to handle. Ryan sees the way she looks at him, and he's determined not to go there with Emma, especially since she deserves a guy who is not a screw-up like him.  Plus, there's also the promise Ryan made to Emma's brother about not ...

FRIDAY NIGHT BRIDES by Samantha Chase

I adored this book. It was so insightful and fun to read. It covers four different types of people and the struggle they go through in life and how they overcame it. It's was just plain beautiful to read. This is a touching story of four friends, Hailey, Becca, Angie and Ella, and how modelling for Enchanted Bridal was a big part of their lives as well as their friendship. These four friends are about the have their lives turned upside down and I just grabbed my popcorn and went along for the ride. The four friends all had their own problems to go through. From learning to love your body, catching Mr Perfect, getting married and forgiveness. I was not sure that I would totally like this book and I was correct in my assumption. Instead, I loved it. I adored all the stories but Ella's story had me entertained the most. Ella's story was the most unusual yet heart breaking with the emotion behind it. I actually thought that it was not going to work out but it...

SUDDENLY IN LOVE by Julia London

This story was a miracle in the making.  I have no idea how Julia London made two of the most opposite people ever, come together so smoothly and perfectly. Mia Lassiter had a blow to not only her art but also to her self-esteem. I have no idea how she was able to move after that rejection, but she did, all the way back home to her parents. Feeling humiliated and defeated, Mia returns home to help her aunt with her interior design business and came face to face with a Rock Star, the only thing is, she may be the only one in the world who have not recognised who he was. Everett Alden, known to the world as Brennan is a world famous rock star that walked away from it all in order to grieve and maybe get his music mojo back. The last thing he expected was for his peace and quiet vacation to be interrupted by his mother remodelling the house. Tired from the turmoil of his life as well as his mother, Everett strives to drown himself in alcohol to n...

RUN TO YOU by Rachel Lacey

This book is all about taking that leap of faith. Gabby Winters and Ethan Hunter met under the most unusual condition.  Just moments after they first saw each other, Gabby was attacked by what seems like zillions of yellowjackets and fell into a stream.  Ethan saves her and then they start dating. Weird, but that's what happened, more or less.  Okay, the real story is that Ethan's grandmother, the woman who raised him and the only family he has is dying. She wants Ethan to be settled before she goes, and Ethan translates that as him starting his business up and dating Gabby. It pleased his grandmother to no end seeing Ethan in a relationship with Gabby.  But what she does not know was that Ethan asked Gabby to "pretend" to be his girlfriend until his grandmother passes on.  This book had me in a good mood.  Ethan was a fun person and had me smiling throughout the book.  He made everything into a joke but knew when to be serious whe...

ALL I WANT by Jill Shalvis

I really liked this book.  The chemistry between the two were instant and the kiss at first sight just made everything much more interesting. Zoe Stone is a pilot for hire who practically raised her brother and sister by herself while their parents traveled all over the world. Being both parents to her siblings has put a big dent in her dating life.  Putting herself out there, Zoe took some advice from her sister to mix things up and kiss her blind date as soon as she opens the door. Unfortunately, Zoe ended up kissing the wrong man. Instead, of her blind date ( who stood her up ) she kissed her bother's friend Parker.  The same friend Zoe promised to let stay at the house for a week. Mortified by her behavior, Zoe tried to stay out of his way, but with Parker's magnetic personality and his ability to get under her skin, Zoe finds herself wanting to jump him instead. The spark between the two intensifies when Parker hires her to fly him around the ...

PICNICS IN HYDE PARK by Nikki Moore

Picnics in Hyde park was different.  I'm still undecided if it was a good different or a bad different. Zoe Harper returns to the UK after five longs years when she found her fiance in bed with another woman.  Outraged, Zoe packs all her stuff and was on the next flight home only to find out that her sister, was thrown out of her job and her boyfriend is not returning any of her calls. Mad as hell from her deception, Zoe's anger takes an all time high making her take action as soon as her plane landed. Instead of going home and consoling her sister, she marched straight over to her sister's former employer to give him a piece of her mind. Instead, what she finds is an over-stressed father, Matt Reilly, in need of a new nanny for his children. Jet lag and anger do not mix and Zoe finds herself being interviewed for a job as the new nanny instead. Matt Reilly has a lot going on.  He's a famous music producer who lets his children be raised by the nanny wi...
