THE ANGEL AND THE WARRIOR by Karen Kay

This book was my next stop on my "Try something new" angle that I just made up.  I have to say that up to now I was enjoying trying new things and then I read this book.  I'm not saying it was bad, but it needs some improvement if it wants to be great.  (In my opinion) Swift Hawk was just ten years old when the medicine man of his clan told him that his people are not part of the living but neither are they part of the dead.  So what I understood from this is that they are somewhere in limbo, waiting for a chance to be free. Swift Hawk was told that he had to go into the world of the living to right the wrong that his people did unto the world, and then, and only then can his people be free.  But how was he to do this?  A vision of an angel was sent to him, and when he set out to find the angel, she was not exactly what he was expecting.
