I was so excited to read this book, especially after the fiasco that happened between Rhys and Helen in the first book of the series, Cold-Hearted Rake. Lady Helen Ravenel has never dared to want anything out of life, especially after finding out the truth of her parentage. This book was so good and I loved it so much.  +Lisa Kleypas  never disappoints with any of her books. Devon Ravenel has just inherited an earldom and while most men would be thrilled for the title, Devon was not one of them. Now this book was the book I did not know I needed in my life. OMG, this book was good. I don't make a habit of re-reading books, but I want to read this book over and over and over again. I had this book on my Kindle app for the longest while, waiting for when I have time between work or school to start it, and I completely forgot about it. Forgive me  +Karen Hawkins . OH SWEET GOD this book was awesome. Technically this series is about the Princes of Oxenburg, but this book was so good, I can forgive that this book was starring an Oxenburg Princess. Having amnesia is not fun.  Having lost all memories of who you are or where you are is not anyone's idea of a fun time.  To make matters worse, was being hurt and having amnesia at the same time. Luckily you were able to find a kind couple who took you in.  They give you a place to stay and food to eat, and in return, you help them with chores around the house. Sounds like a great deal right. I enjoy reading Candace Camp books and this book was not, in my opinion, one of her best work but it was still fascinating to read. Violet Thornhill is fed up with being a woman in a man's world and she does everything in her power to gain even ground with any man she comes across.  This is a hard thing to accomplish seeing as how she is on the short side, but this does not stop Violet from trying. Her newest quest in gaining even footing is by arriving ahead of the rush to examine newly discovered ruins at an estate in Duncally.  On her way there, her carriage was attacked by highwaymen. I went from book one straight to book eight in this series and even though some of the characters are familiar to me, I got really confuse to as to who everyone was and how they fit together. Lady Phoebe Batten is a caged bird yearning to be free.  Her brother, A Duke, has posted guards to protect her twenty-four seven all because of a little blindness. This was a nice book, but it did not live up to my expectations.  The last two books in the series that I read which are The Scandalous Adventures of the Sister of the Bride (which was my first book ever by Victoria Alexander) and  The Shocking Secret of a Guest at the Wedding .  Those two books were amazing and this one left me wanting. I had a fun time reading this book.  It kind of reminded me of Rapunzel. Not the book but the make over that Disney did, minus the really long hair. Marlowe is one of the best pick pockets in the west end.  She is the only female among the gang of the Covent Garden Cubs, a gang of thieves living in the slums of London's Seven Dials. It's a hard life, one where she was to hide that she is a girl most of the time.  It was easier when she was a little girl, but now that she has turned into a young woman, it has become harder to hide her figure.  Men has began to see her beauty but Marlowe only saw her body as an inconvenience.
