Swans Book Review

This story was cute but not very believable.  In this day and age, who in the world is going to put their phone number in a newspaper to acquire a "fake date". Ericka was dumped via text by her boyfriend.  Now he's her boss and Ericka wants to go to the office Christmas party with a date to hide that she still has feelings for Greyson, her ex. Grayson, on the other hand, broke up with Ericka for one of the most ridiculous reasons I have ever heard of.  Right after he did it, however, he realised his mistake and wanted her back. I mean seriously.  This story was jammed packed with so many cliches and it was obvious which direction the book was going and how it was going to end. This book brought nothing new to the romance world and the ending was not a satisfactory one. The best love stories happen around Christmas and this is just one of the many.  The characters in this book will just grasp your heart and not let go. Bailey Voss has got it bad.  Bailey is crushing on an ex-football player named Kenny Scoot,  but she knows that he is out of her league.  Kenny only dates super thin, well endowed women, that are mostly models and actors.  Bailey knows that she does not stand a chance at catching Kenny's attention, seeing as how she is a single mom and battling to lose that extra twenty pounds, but hey, a girl can day dream.   Things change when the mayor of Fool's Gold roped Kenny and Bailey to "volunteer" to run a toy drive. I did not really feel for this book.  I especially did not like the heroine in it too, she was to full of herself in an awkward way.  She thought about herself way to much for my liking. Okay, not quite sure what to say about this book.  What exactly do I say about a book that I did not enjoy at all.  Is it mean and unfair that I think this.   Ellie Martin has been saving for her wedding all her life.  She wants a big traditional wedding with the puffy white dress, and all the frills and trills, just like the one her younger sisters is having (at the expense of their mother).  She has it all planned out ... except she has no groom.  Needing to de-stress from her life, Ellie goes to her secret garden near a church.  She found this place by accident and the garden was calling out to her.  Gardening relaxes her, so anytime she needs to relax, she goes there, without the knowledge of the owners. DECEMBER BRIDE In a December Bride, Alright, I read this part of the series after A February Bride and it was okay, I enjoyed a February Bride better but this was good in it's own way. Seth Murphy is in trouble.  He found the perfect woman in Layla O'Reilly, but his best friend beat him to the punch and asked her out first.  If that was not bad enough, his best friend leaves Layla for her cousin and now Layla is putting all the blame on him since he introduced the two. Now this is the type of fake wedding I can approve of.  Is your face like, WHAT? right now, well my explanation comes in the form of this review. I got approved to review A July Bride, but I already read this one and in the natural order of things, I'm reviewing this one first.  Hope none of you are too disappointed by me for not reviewing the books in the correct order. Ever think that you need a second chance, or even a chance to feel like you belong.  Amy Price has that feeling, which was more like a longing to belong.  After the life she had, I ca understand why.
