AN UNCOMMON WHORE by Belinda McBride

Usually I don't really like to read a science fiction book that is too much removed from what we use today.  This is because I have a hard time picturing what it is exactly I'm suppose to be picturing.  ( if that makes any sense to you ).  I requested this book because of the publisher and I was not disappointed. Pasha hates being a slave. Having to earn his keep on his knees on the most dangerous bar on Warlan. He tried to run away but the officials caught him and brought him back to his owner. ( Even though he started it! ) Caitlyn Hurst is determined to redeem herself. After her disastrous London season, she feels a g...
