A MILLION LITTLE THING by Susan Mallery

I love going to Mischief Bay and meeting all the girls again and meeting new ones along the way. Plus we get to see a new side of Pam that gives me second thoughts about her. This book focuses on Zoe, Jen and Pam. Zoe works from home and incident that had her trapped in her attic with her hungry cat made her come to the realization that she is completely alone. Jen is the daughter of Pam and recently turned a mother herself.  Jen finds herself constantly obsessing over her son and the things that can harm him. We all know Pam (if you've read the series from the beginning ). We've been with her when she wanted to get her groove back and through the loss of her husband.  Nguy. Watch as these ladies discover a new side of themselves that they never knew existed in their fun new adventures in Mischief Bay. This book was an eye opener to a side of Pam I never knew existed. But before I get into Pam's story let's talk about the first woman we were introduced to ...

BEST OF MY LOVE by Susan Mallery

Where travel back to Fool's Gold once again, and this is one town I have not gotten enough of. This is an intriguing story about friendship and love.  Shelly Gilmore chose Aiden Mitchell to be her male friend for three months to get over her fear of men. After living with a father who was abusive towards her mother and herself, and seeing her mother stay and take the abuse has given Shelly a warped idea of what a relationship was supposed to be like. Aiden has given up women after having an altercation between himself and one of his past hookups.  Aiden was devastated that he could not remember the woman's name.  This had him evaluating how he sees women and to understand exactly when he became the one night hook up guy. This experiment that Shelly has come up with will help them both explore the opposite sex without the pressure of feelings or sex.  Aiden was quite happy to help Shelly since he would also be helping himself in the lon...

SUMMER AT LITTLE BEACH STREET BAKERY by Jenny Colgan

It was so good to go back to The Little beach Street Bakery and meet the gang once again.  Even with the bad times that overcame them, it was still fun to go back. Polly Waterford could not be happier. She lives in the small town of Mount Polbearne that she loves.  She runs a bakery where she is practically in charge of everything. And best of all, she lives with her boyfriend Huckle, who she is absolutely and totally in love with.  Live could not be better. Yet a strong wind blow across the small town of Mount Polbearne, bringing trouble in its wake. Selina is a grieving widow, who can't seem to get over her husband's death.  Trying a new approach of getting better, Selina moves into the town her husband was born, raised and tragically died in. SWEET LITTLE LIES by Jill Shalvis

This book was a little difficult for me to follow along with.  Some of the words were unnecessary and I found myself skipping parts of the words on a page.  Yet, this was still a sweet story to read. Pru has made it her job in life to make people happy.  Not all people, just certain select individuals.  The person she has her sight on to make happy at the moment is sexy pup owner, Finn O'Riley. Pru has already put things in place now all she has to do was stick around long enough to see if her plan was working. The thing is, Pru had no plan of falling in love with Mr. Right. She believes that she doesn't deserve love, at least not yet. Yet when Finn looks at her with his deep green eyes, her entire body tingles and shakes until all she can think about is her and Finn. All Pru had to do is take the chance and go after Finn to find her own happiness. But a terrible secret is holding Pru back, a secret so big it might make Finn hate her forever. ...

THE FRIENDS WE KEEP by Susan Mallery

+Susan Mallery  has done it to me again. She wrote a book of love, heartbreak, family and friends that brought tears to my eyes, again.  I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for more in this series. Gabby Schaefer is excited to finally get back into the workforce.  After taking off five years to take care of her kids, they are finally old enough to go to pre-school and Gabby can now feel like a grown up again. But plans have a way of going astray, especially when Gabby and her husband have different expectations for a family situation that may or may not ruin their lives. Getting pregnant is not a problem for Hayley Batchelor, staying pregnant is the difficult part. With the expensive fertility treatments that Hayley and her husband take, you'll think that they'll have a better chance of staying pregnant. But with miscarriage after miscarriage, Hayley looks like a former shell of her old self.  Her husband is worried about her, but Ha...

MY KIND OF WONDERFUL by Jill Shalvis

The person whose story I wanted to read the most has arrived. I was so excited to receive this on +NetGalley   and thankfully, that excitement was maintained throughout the entire book. Bailey Moore has a goal.  A goal of doing all the things that would make her feel alive.  Things such as skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina.   Bailey has gotten a chance that many people have lost the fight for and she is not about to waste it.   Her first step was going to ski, but that did not go so well. Instead, she got more than she bargained for when she laid eyes on Hudson Kincaid. Hudson Kincaid has a lot of things to handle on his plate.  He has to patrol the resort, take care of his mother and try and help his siblings to find a way to get the resort out of the crater size hole of debt their father left it in.  Hudson does not need a high-spirited woman packed in a tiny, fragile body ...

ANYTHING FOR YOU by Kristan Higgins

This book had me thinking a lot.  Jess's live was not an easy one.  She made some bad choices in her life, but she did them with the best intentions.  I wonder if I would have done, half of the things she did if I was in her position? Connor O'Rourke proposed to the girl of his dreams, Jessica Dunn, and was refused! They have known each other throughout their entire lives and their relationship might not have the best history but their feelings are real. They have always had an on again off again kind of relationship and Connor just wanted to make Jessica his wife.  But when she refused him, he told her that they were officially done and never getting back together.  Jessica just walked away. Jessica Dunn has done things that no girl should have to do in order to protect her brother.  Growing up with two acholic parents, Jessica had to take care of both herself and her special brother for all of her life. She has spent so much of her ...

A WINTER WEDDING by Brenda Novak

This book was so sweet.  You can't choose who you love, nor can you choose how fast you fall in love with them.  This is what happened in this book and it was so beautiful. Kyle Houseman, man, does he have it rough.  The love of his life is married to his step-brother and worst of all, he has the ex-wife from hell. I could not believe the nerve of this woman.  The way she twisted everything was alarming to read.  She always made Kyle out to be the bad guy and he never really did anything to set people straight. So guess what, she gets away with all her trouble making and bad mouthing. I think he lets her get away with all her craziness because he's punishing himself for sleeping with his, how do I say this...girlfriend's ( who put their relationship on hold and ran away to some far away college) sister. Because of one mistake, he has to suffer for the rest of his life.  Now there is a new woman in town that makes him forget about his ex-wi...

SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL by Sarah Morgan

OMG, I LOVED the hero in this book. He's so dreamy and full of heart and I'm glad he got a happy ending. The woman, however, my feelings for her was like a yo-yo.  First it was down, then it came up and then it went right down again in the ending. Brittany Forrest got away from her island home of Puffin Island to get away from the sympathetic stares and comments from the kind hearted islanders when her marriage ended after only ten days. It stung that much more when she married him after everyone warned her against marrying the island bad boy Zachary Flynn. Determined to escape the sympathy and her thoughts of Zach, she flees the island and has not seen nor heard from Zach in the next ten years. Zachary Flynn has seen and experienced things no child should ever have to go through. Being subjected to an abusive parent, Zach learnt from a young age that the only one who can look after him is himself. When he came to Puffin Island he was given a chance at a new l...
