MY KIND OF WONDERFUL by Jill Shalvis

The person whose story I wanted to read the most has arrived. I was so excited to receive this on +NetGalley   and thankfully, that excitement was maintained throughout the entire book. Bailey Moore has a goal.  A goal of doing all the things that would make her feel alive.  Things such as skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina.   Bailey has gotten a chance that many people have lost the fight for and she is not about to waste it.   Her first step was going to ski, but that did not go so well. Instead, she got more than she bargained for when she laid eyes on Hudson Kincaid. Hudson Kincaid has a lot of things to handle on his plate.  He has to patrol the resort, take care of his mother and try and help his siblings to find a way to get the resort out of the crater size hole of debt their father left it in.  Hudson does not need a high-spirited woman packed in a tiny, fragile body ...

ANYTHING FOR YOU by Kristan Higgins

This book had me thinking a lot.  Jess's live was not an easy one.  She made some bad choices in her life, but she did them with the best intentions.  I wonder if I would have done, half of the things she did if I was in her position? Connor O'Rourke proposed to the girl of his dreams, Jessica Dunn, and was refused! They have known each other throughout their entire lives and their relationship might not have the best history but their feelings are real. They have always had an on again off again kind of relationship and Connor just wanted to make Jessica his wife.  But when she refused him, he told her that they were officially done and never getting back together.  Jessica just walked away. Jessica Dunn has done things that no girl should have to do in order to protect her brother.  Growing up with two acholic parents, Jessica had to take care of both herself and her special brother for all of her life. She has spent so much of her ...

THE BEST MAN by Kristan Higgins

I had this book in my library of my Kindle app for the longest while and I never read it.  I was browsing through my library when I saw it and I opened it up and was immediately hooked. Faith Holland does not have much luck in the love department.  After being left at the alter, Faith leaves behind her family and friends in Blue Heron, just to get away from the soul-sucking pain that seemed to have consumed her.  She just needed a break from everything, but ended up staying away for many years. Now a family emergency has her returning to her home of Blue Heron Winery, which is her family vineyard where everyone but herself has a place in. Being back would give her the time to confront the ghost in her past as well as get on good terms with her family.  Things don't go according to plan when she keeps running into the best man at the almost wedding, the same man who ruined her wedding. Levi Cooper did not have the best starting out in life, but he made the...

Then Miles Haas comes back to town. But he’s no stranger—they’ve known each other since high school. Plus, he’s only around for the summer, he’s still a shameless playboy, and he makes a living writing articles for a men’s magazine with titles like 'Should You Bang the Boss’s Daughter? A Flowchart' and 'Butt Stuff for Beginners: A Field Guide.' He’s not the man of her dreams, and she’s not about to abandon everything she’s worked so hard for just for a little fun. Except he makes her laugh like no one else, smells like heaven, and wears panty-melting glasses. The light was off in my room when I returned, and I could barely make out her sh...
