TO HOT TO HANDLE by Katie Rose

I don't really like baseball but how can I resist this book cover.  The description of the book was interesting as well.  My vow to read books from authors I have not heard about helps as well and this is what I think about my new discovery. Nikki Case is no fan of baseball. After having to clean up the mess of her ex-husband's gambling debts, Nikki wants nothing to do with the sport. Things don't go her way when she is assigned to manage the image of a Baseball team. The New Jersey Sonics are well known for their womanizing ways and drunken brawls. YEAH! I went into the bookstore and saw this book and I just picked it up without even looking at the description on the back. I've read enough books of  +Jill Shalvis  to know that her books are funny, warming and heartbreaking all at once, and I was right. Pace Martin is a man who was forced to realize a terrible truth. A truth that all men realize much later on in their lives, but for Pace, that time came much to early.  Being the ace pitcher for the Pacific Heat (Baseball for those who were wondering) , he's got the whole package and good looks to boot.
