The top five list for the perfect man Curtsy of Jessica Lemmon from The Millionaire Affair  Let's just assume hard abs, a broad chest, swagger, great hair, gorgeous eyes, and a big… heart are assumed. ;-) I’ve listed the attributes for “The Perfect Man” below. 5) CONFIDENCE.   A man who knows who he is without being cocky about it. In Landon's case from The Millionaire Affair it was a combination of both. 4) LOYALTY.   Can't say enough about this one. Every woman wants man she knows isn't going to go anywhere, and will have her back when she needs him. 3) SENSE OF HUMOR .  A man who can laugh at himself, and laugh off life's frustrations instead of whine about them is super important! I was not expecting all this angst in this book, but, it oddly intrigued me.  This book is for all the women who ever felt like that it is too late to  achieve your dreams. Well guess what, it's not and  +Susan Mallery  tells us a story about why that is! Nina Wentworth is a small town nurse who also has a life time job of being the responsible one.  Having to be a mom to her mother and to her sister, Nina was not able to be child, she always had to be the grown up around the house. YEAH! I went into the bookstore and saw this book and I just picked it up without even looking at the description on the back. I've read enough books of  +Jill Shalvis  to know that her books are funny, warming and heartbreaking all at once, and I was right. Pace Martin is a man who was forced to realize a terrible truth. A truth that all men realize much later on in their lives, but for Pace, that time came much to early.  Being the ace pitcher for the Pacific Heat (Baseball for those who were wondering) , he's got the whole package and good looks to boot. All I can say is wow.  It went from pillar to post with this book and I could not fully grasp how quickly the story escalated.  When I thought it was over, another situation was slammed into my face that left me reeling.  Let me explain. "Winning Miss Wakefield" is such an interesting title.  When you hear these words, you think of a man who is so in love with Miss Wakefield that he tries everything to win her heart, or in a more twisted way he wants Miss Wakefield in order to accomplish something and then cast her aside.  Do you like wagers?  then you're going to love this book.
