SWEETEST SCOUNDREL by Elizabeth Hoyt

This book is labeled as a Historical Romance, but I think that it's fair to warn you that it is also one of the best erotic romances I have read this year, maybe ever.  Elizabeth Hoyt made the words "May I" sound like the sexiest thing you can ever hear from a man. Eve Dinwoody was traumatized by something terrible in her past which has made her terrified of both dogs and men.  But Eve did not let that her fear totally rule her life.  She tries to life her life in a way that is comfortable to her with her friend and guard Jean-Marie by her side. When her brother was forced to "leave" London, he put her in charge of his funds.  Determined to help her brother, Eve goes to the pleasure garden that he is funding to know where all the money her brother is putting in the place is being used. When she meets Asa, her life was never the same again especially when she cuts off his funding to rebuild his dream. I had so much fun reading about Eve's rea...

HOTTER WITH A POLE by Delilah Devlin

This book is a novella, so I was expecting the wham bam sex, and saying the "L" word being said early in the book. Maybe it's because I've read a good bit of erotic romance as well as BDSM books that I realized that the author might not really have a working knowledge of the BDSM world. When your heart is stuck in the wrong gear, a quick fix isn't going to cut it. When Noah buys a classic '68 Camaro from a fellow firefighter's widow, he hopes it will ease some of the grief crushing his heart. But the grinding noise under the car's hood sends him straight to a mechanic. Something about the burly, imposing Hoyt sparks Noah's interest, and it's not just Hoyt's ice-blue eyes and bad-boy biker looks. It's the mutual interest they have--Club LaForge. After losing his partner to cancer a year ago, Hoyt never thought he'd feel the same kind of rush with another man. But his reaction to Noah throbs deep in his body like the ...

DARE TO ROCK by Carly Phillips

I honestly thought this was the last book in the series.  I have no idea why, but I did.  Not sure if I'm up to reading the rest of the series since it seems to all blend together and sound the same. Avery Dare is the introvert of the Dare family.  She makes her living as an online fashion and makeup video blogger. She has the love of her family, (well almost ) and great friends.  Even with her lack of a love life, Avery still feels okay.  That is until she gets an invitation from her ex. This is no ordinary ex.  This ex went on to become a world-famous rock star.  A rock star than can melt a girls panties with just a look.  For some reason, he wants to see Avery again and that's why he sent her tickets to his concert as well as a backstage pass. Avery was not sure if she should go, but deciding to take a risk for once in her life, well technically the second in her life, Avery took the chance and got burned in the end. G...

RELEASE DAY BLITZ of Unleashed

Unleashed, Vol. 1: Hot Alpha Romance (Beg For It series) Declan Hunt I never thought I’d see her again. The one I couldn’t have, the one I’d never forget. When I met her I had nothing, a lowly ranch hand working on her daddy’s land. She was the golden girl up on the hill, sexy as hell but beyond my reach. Now, like all my fantasies realized, she’s come to me for help. I’m a bastard, ruthless in pursuit of my goals. My cold, hard drive has made me what I am today, amassing wealth and power. A good guy would help her, then send her on her way with a handshake and a smile. I’m not a good guy. I’m going to make a bargain and hold her to it. One week. I’ll bail her out, pay off all her debts, but only after she gives herself to me completely. Seven days and seven nights of no-holds-barred submission to my dominance. I’m a demanding man with dark, relentless appetites. She’s unleashed the beast in me and I won’t stop until I possess all of her. Kara Six years ago ...

BROWN EYED GIRL by Lisa Kleypas

I read Blue-Eyed Devil so long ago I forgot about the last Travis brother, Joe.  How could I have done that?  I love the Travis family and all the drama that comes with the famous Travis name. Avery Crosslin became a Wedding Planner in recent years and she is an up and coming star in Housten Society. Celebrities and rich families alike are hearing wonderful things about Avery and her amazing planning skills. Avery could not be more thrilled for all the publicity that her business was attaining. Everything sounds magical until you factor in, Avery does not believe in love. Shocking, I know. How can someone who comes up with beautiful ideas for people's wedding not believe in the magic of love is confusing, I know. But as you get to know her, you will understand and totally love Avery. It was at one of these weddings that Avery ran into Joe Travis.  She accidentally mistook him as one of the wedding photographers that she hired. She realized her mistake soon en...

DEAREST ROGUE by Elizabeth Hoyt

I went from book one straight to book eight in this series and even though some of the characters are familiar to me, I got really confuse to as to who everyone was and how they fit together. Lady Phoebe Batten is a caged bird yearning to be free.  Her brother, A Duke, has posted guards to protect her twenty-four seven all because of a little blindness. Okay, her blindness was not a little thing since she was almost completely blind in both eyes. She can still see shapes, but only when the light is really good. Phoebe remembers a time where she was allowed to roam free and do as she wishes when her eye site became worse and worse, and now someone is determined to abduct her and do heavens knows what. It's a good thing that she has the best guard in the world who goes by the name of Captain Travillion.  Her brother hired him even having an injured leg, and her brother is known to only hire the best. Despite how he infuriates her, Phoebe feels the safest when he is ...

JUST ONE SPARK by Jenna Bayley-Burke

It took me a long time to read this book.  It took me a few months and I have now completed this book.  This is mostly in part because the book did not turn out the way I thought it would have and it bored me with its weirdness. Here is what I mean. Hannah Daniels does not find it weird to sit and read an erotic book whilst waiting for her clothes to wash in a public laundry-mart. Hannah was just getting to one of the good parts of her current book when a handsome stranger distracts her.  He was very handsome and she felt a connection the only thing that stopped her from liking him is the wedding ring on his finger. Disgusted by him, Hannah quickly leaves the Laundry hoping to never see the lying bastard again. Mason McNally cannot stop kicking himself for the major screw up with the girl of his dreams.  He was wearing a ring to help his brother with a study of his and she misunderstood. Needing to find her again, Mason looks high and low but cannot find ...
