DARE TO SUBMIT by Carly Phillips

WARNING:  THIS BOOK HAS EXPLICIT SEXUAL SCENES THAT MAY CAUSE YOUR HEART TO BEAT FASTER.  IF YOU HAVE A HEART CONDITION, PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE READING THIS BOOK.

Decklan Dare watched the magnificent creature from across the room of sweat and sex, and knew that he wanted to posses her, but he refused himself. After seeing her  with multiple partners for months, Decklan was bursting with jealousy.

He was about to give up on his obsession when the current dom she was with, was breaking the rules. After rescuing her, they both agreed to be each other's partner for the night.

Amanda Collins enjoys the no strings attach freedom of sex.  Always trying to find a partner to her liking but always having to send them away, for they were always lacking.

The Dom she chose for the night, was getting out of hand and refuse to take no as an answer.  When he started to get in her personal space, she was relieved when the handsome stranger that has been staring at her for the past few months, comes to her rescue.

After a night filled with pleasure, Amanda sneaks away to go back to her real life, and knew that she would never forget her experience with Decklan.

Decklan refused to let her go, and goes after his woman.  But would Amanda give in, having been living a lie for most of her life?  Would Decklan forgive her after he learns the truth?  Find out in the bondage filled fourth book in the Dare to Love series, Dare to Submit.

This book was okay but not great.  I do not understand how Decklan came about his control issues.  It seem to me that he was suppose to be the one wanting to lose control not Amanda.

Amanda's best friend was not fair and it seemed that everyone was using Amanda to make themselves feel better.  Oh and with a mother like hers, OMG, Amanda's mother is one of the worst people I have ever read about.

She single highhandedly made Amanda feel horrible about herself, even though she is a smart and beautiful woman.  I'm glad that Decklan made her believe that about herself and even stood up to her mother on her behalf.

I'm glad that +Carly Phillips sneaked in my favorite couple in the Dare to Love series into this story, showing us a glimpse into their lives after their happy ending.

Sad to say, this is the last book in the series that I have in my possession.  The last and final book in the series, Dare to Touch, comes out in two days. I want a copy of it, so I can finally conclude this series.  I'm looking forward to it.

HAPPY READING!

AT THE DUKE'S PLEASURE by Tracey Anne Warren

All the books I choose are like a yo-yo, first one disappoints me and then the next one makes up for it. I'm still in my "trying something new" phase and even with the disappointments in some books, I'm loving trying new authors.  At the Duke's Pleasure is an awesome read that will have you laughing. Edward Byron, Duke of Clybourne, has had his life planned out since the day he was born.  What school he had to attend, the friends he was to keep and worst of all, what bride he was to take.  This was too much for a boy of ten to take and he rebelled (quietly) against having a bride, ten years his junior.  Now Edward is in his early thirty's and finally saw the wisdom of his father choosing a bride for him, but when he goes to claim his bride, would she have him? Claire Marsden has always known that she was to marry a Duke and has been excited about the marriage until her heart was broken at the tender age of sixteen. To further add insult to injury, her...
