LET IT RIDE by L.C. Chase

This book had me furious.  OMG, it was right there, smacking you in the face over and over and over again.  The one thing you wanted your entire life and you just.....I mean how could you.........and then urrgghhhhhh!

Bridge Sullivan is what you would call a man's man. He's big, he's strong and he works at a rodeo, you know, you're everyday cow boy. What everyone doesn't know is what a man's man he really is in more than one way, if you know what I mean,

Not one for labels, Bridge goes all out when the new smexy male paramedic Eric Palmer had his juices flowing.

Growing up in foster care, New Yorker Eric Palmer never felt like a part of any of the families that took him in.  Eric always felt like he is was lacking in some way. The feeling intensifies when with every boyfriend he ever had dumped him for some reason or the other.

Giving up on love and relationships all together, Eric focused all his energy in his work and his dedication earned him a family and friends among the rodeo.  Feeling like a part of something for the first time in his life, Eric vows not to do anything to ruin it and that includes not dating one of the smoking hot owners, Bridge Sullivan.

Both being incredibly stubborn and determined to have their way, who would come out the victor. Is Bridge just using Eric to scratch an itch he can't scratch or Will Eric's fear of rejection and feeling unwanted keep them from having a future?  This is an extremely sexy story about trust and you need to go read it.

L.C. Chase wrote a story that completely blew my mind.  The person who you thought would be the one in the wrong in this book would not be who you think it is.  It just might be from an outside source...........maybe.

Bridge was such a sweetheart, his take charge way of doing things can be a little off putting but his heart was always in the right place.  Eric........................Eric just needed to let go and go with the flow instead he (SCREAMS).............................................sorry I lost it a little there.  Eric was sweet too, in his own way...at first...................!

This book was exciting, heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time.  I want to get the rest of the books in the "Pick Up Men" series knowing they have to be as good as this one.

HAPPY READING!

BED OF ROSES (Book two in the Brides Quarlet) By Nora Roberts

I love flowers but not as much as Miss Emmaline Grant, she lives for them.  Emma is part owner of Vows, which is in the wedding business and Emma's part is with the flowers.  The bouquet, the table center piece, once it involves flowers, Emma does it and does it with a fairy tale quality. Growing up with a love story like her parents, Emma's head constantly romanticizes everything.  She keep looking for Mr Right and she found him in Jack. Jack Cooke is a enjoy them now and leave them before they get to close kind of guy.  His mindset encourages him into not wanting or needing a relationship knowing that they never last and people get hurt. With Emma, there was no holding back and he was constantly hesitating when she says or does something that he thinks violates his space. He constantly hurts Emma unintentionally and Emma feels as if she has to frequently hold back her feelings so as not to scare Jack off. Shit hit the fan when she couldn't take ho...

GETTING BETTER

Sorry for not updating for a while.  I have been sick for the past week and the glare from my computer screen made my eyes and head hurt more than it did, so I banned myself from my computer until I was better. It has not completely left me yet, but I am getting better and the computer screen no longer hurt my eyes.  The only thing is that I am backed up with all of my reviews.  I read a lot when I was sick, seemed like the only thing I could do.  I did not even have the energy to go to school for the first week. I'm getting better now and look forward for my new reviews and I might post more than one this week.
