FOREVER AND A DAY by Jill Shalvis

+Jill Shalvis has done it again.  She has created a wonderful universe where I just want to jump right in and experience the action for myself.

Grace Brooks is not having a good day, scratch that, she's not having a good life.  Always feeling like she has to live up too what her parents want for her, Grace kind of lost herself in the process, or more like, she was never given the chance to discover who she is.

After walking out on a job four months ago, Grace finds herself in Lucky Harbor where she meets some great friends and people who make her feel at home, which is a first for Grace.

Needing money Grace accepted a dog walking job (although she stole it) which brought her into the dysfunctional world of Dr. Josh Scott.

Josh Scott is an Alpha man, he takes care of people which makes him being doctor perfect for him; except that there is not enough time in the day to accomplish what he has to do.

After taking x amount of hours at work, he has to come home to take care of his son and scared sister.  With Josh having to take care of the entire town of Lucky Harbor and then some, is there anyone left to take care of him?

Grace plus Josh equals fire, sparks and explosions of chemical reactions. They cannot be together in a room without feeling the heat they bring out in each other and the only way to extinguish the flames (at least for a little while) is for them to come together, again and again.

In these types of stories you know things are not easily put in place and this book is no exception.  Grace wants the approval of her parents and she does not think she would find that in Lucky Harbor, so with one foot and an arm out the door Josh cannot pin his hopes on Grace, knowing that one day she'll be gone.

Will Grace stay or would Josh have to find another woman for his family, and their are plenty who are offering, I would be one too if I was there.

Jill Shalvis is amazingly awesome since she came up with these fun quotes for every chapter of the book.  If you are a fellow chocoholic than you my friend are in for a treat.

BED OF ROSES (Book two in the Brides Quarlet) By Nora Roberts

I love flowers but not as much as Miss Emmaline Grant, she lives for them.  Emma is part owner of Vows, which is in the wedding business and Emma's part is with the flowers.  The bouquet, the table center piece, once it involves flowers, Emma does it and does it with a fairy tale quality. Growing up with a love story like her parents, Emma's head constantly romanticizes everything.  She keep looking for Mr Right and she found him in Jack. Jack Cooke is a enjoy them now and leave them before they get to close kind of guy.  His mindset encourages him into not wanting or needing a relationship knowing that they never last and people get hurt. With Emma, there was no holding back and he was constantly hesitating when she says or does something that he thinks violates his space. He constantly hurts Emma unintentionally and Emma feels as if she has to frequently hold back her feelings so as not to scare Jack off. Shit hit the fan when she couldn't take ho...

GETTING BETTER

Sorry for not updating for a while.  I have been sick for the past week and the glare from my computer screen made my eyes and head hurt more than it did, so I banned myself from my computer until I was better. It has not completely left me yet, but I am getting better and the computer screen no longer hurt my eyes.  The only thing is that I am backed up with all of my reviews.  I read a lot when I was sick, seemed like the only thing I could do.  I did not even have the energy to go to school for the first week. I'm getting better now and look forward for my new reviews and I might post more than one this week.
