TO SCOTLAND WITH LOVE by Karen Hawkins

This book come after "How to abduct a Highland Lord" which was awesome.  The good thing about this series is that you can read each book on it's own, BUT to enhance the reading experience, read all the books, in the correct order of course.

Being friend since one has been five and another eight, means that you have a very good friendship, especially when you seek each other's company everyday.  You know all there secret and you theirs and you talk about each and everything that you can think of.

Well that friendship changed when Venetia Oglivie, has eloped, without even knowing that she was eloping.  Being of a kind heart, when Venetia heard the news that her mother was not well, she immediately went to her rescue, like she always does, not fully understanding the consequences of riding in a closed carriage with a man, who is not a part of her family.

Lord Gregor MacLean, having heard the news when Venetia failed to arrive for their daily morning ride, at once set out to save his friend from ruin, it would have been much easier had he not lost his temper.  Hint: This has something to do with the curse, shhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Upon reaching Venetia, and having being stuck in the at an inn for a few days, Gregor have noticed things about Venetia that he never had before, which has heat, burning passionate heat rear up between the two that the two of them cannot stay together in the same room without starting a fire.

Venetia being Venetia have to try and save all the lost souls that crosses her path, which usually end in disaster and Gregor being Gregor thinks everyone have the means to help themselves and that they will get no help from him, so to they that these guys clash is an understatement.

But love being love will prevail and they will live happily ever after, but the question is how?  You have to read the book to find out.  This book is sexy and funny and would have you believing best friends from childhood being soul mates, even if it takes forever for them to realise it.

IT STARTED WITH A KISS by Marina Adair

She wants to push herself outside the norm and experience life instead of just existing. This came about when she survived a kidney transplant that saved her life, but it's also a ticking time bomb that can explode at any time. With her resolve to experience life, Avery did the most logical thing and got a job as a guide in the local adventure lodge in her rustic Sierra Nevada Town. She was excited for her new job until reality slapped her in the face.  Instead of getting the training she needed in order to become a guide, she's stuck in the office, managing the business as best she can. What makes this situation worse is that the business is failing and the owner is so set in his ways that he refuses to change anything to fix it.  Frustrated with the way things were, hel...
