I have to say this woman you either have to admire her
bravery or call her completely stupid to jeopardize everything she worked so
hard to do.
Let’s say you find out that the man you married is a
ruthless killer and might kill you at any point in time in the future do you
accept your fate or escape. You escape
of course and run, far, far away and then you run even further than that;
because it is really difficult to convict your husband seeing as he is a
corrupt cop and his own boss is afraid of him.
Now being free of this maniac would you risk your new lifestyle
to save the life of someone who is on death row for crimes he did not
commit? If it was me logically it would
be to keep my mouth shut and lay low but I might surprise myself as how Jeanine
A.K.A Nina surprised herself.
I have to say that this book was nicely naively good,
because that was how Nina thought. She
thought that the good guys always win and that the bad guys always lose. She thought that because she knew the prisoner
on death row was not the killer she could save him while hiding from her
murdering husband. She does manage to
pull it off being naive and all and saved many lives in the process.
