At first I was confused but as the story continued further
down, I started to better understand what was taking place. I especially like the part when Old Man said
that “a rock and a tunnel mated and gave birth to the universe”. I laughed and read that part over and over;
it still makes me laugh thinking about it.
This story was original with its story line as well as their
characters. The “chosen One” acted like
someone who was taken against their will, who did not truly believe the crazy
story they told him nor did he want to go any further unless they told him why
he had to go in the first place.
I liked the story, the character, especially the race of
people that are born sexless and can turn either into a male or into a male
when it is time to mate.
